This week we're honoring summer tomatoes with a 5-course tomato dinner you can take home with you!

Fresh local heirloom tomatoes are a treat in Chicago, and we'll be utilizing fantastic local produce, our 30 day cultured blue cheese, and even featuring a Strawberry-Tomato Shortcake!

Here is the menu for this week:

1) Tomato Caprese Kit: Ripe, Heirloom tomatoes and our homemade cashew mozzarella balls for you to slice, fresh basil from our garden, Balsamic Vinegar, Olive Oil, and Maldon Salt

2) Fried Green Tomatoes, Green Beans, Herbs, Whipped Almond Ricotta: Fried green tomatoes are a fantastic way to enjoy under-ripe tomatoes, and we'll pair it with whipped almond ricotta, Blanched Green Beans, Oregano, and Mint from our garden.

3) Heirloom Tomato Gazpacho: We'll make a fantastic, classic, chilled gazpacho and serve it with some lightly pickled cucumber relish and nasturtium.

4) Truffled White Bean Phyllo Pastry, Heirloom Tomato, Blue Cheese Fondue: Phyllo pastry filled with White Bean, Roasted Kohlrabi & Bell Pepper, and Truffled Mashed Potato, served with Sweetcorn Fritters, Heirloom Tomato & Okra, with a Blue Cheese Fondue Sauce

5) Strawberry-Tomato Shortcake with Sweet Cashew Whip: I totally miss strawberry shortcake, and haven't had it for years. How many of you know tomato is a fruit? Served with our Sweet Cashew Whip

This meal can be picked up and delivered on Saturday or Sunday 8/22 & 8/23, and you can add on croissants, pastries, or more of our cheese!
