Vegan Thai Cooking Class

In 2011 I spent a month in Thailand traveling, eating, and learning to cook! I learned at the Chiang Mai Thai Cookery School, and then spent a week cooking at the Khun Lek streetfood kitchen in Bangkok.
I’ll be teaching you how to prepare 3 classic Thai dishes, while introducing some perhaps unfamiliar ingredients. We’ll hone our knife skills, and prepare a 3 course feast for us to eat! You’ll bring home some homemade green curry paste, and will get a nice recipe book of everything we made that day.

Only 6 people per class, so we can all attentively work together.
As a chef, I’ve had to teach dozens of cooks over the years, and I love sharing, and demystifying cooking!  Anyone can make a few great dishes, and cook with heart.  This class will be very hands on.

That said, here is what we’ll be making:

You’ll get a recipe booklet of all the dishes we made together to take home with you, some of the housemade green curry paste we made, get to sit and eat the 3 course meal we made together, and spend a couple hours having fun and learning.
I look forward to it!  You’ll be making these dishes with confidence, in just minutes, once you learn the curry paste and the pad Thai sauce.  This is Thai fast food, and easy to improvise at home.
